This Week:
- in language arts we finished our novel Harry Potter. We also kept working on our other novel Tales of a Fourth Nothing. In poetry we started looking for a poem that we can recite.
- in science we continued learning about animal structures. We looked at different animal eyes and how they use them to find food, see their surroundings and survive. We created macro animal eyes and also dragon eyes out of clay to go along with the conclusion of our fantasy novel.
- in social studies we started learning about Confederation and the reasons that led to people wanting to unite to form Canada.
- to catch up in math we have been working on a couple of things: decimals and division. We looked at how we can compare and order decimals and how we can divide numbers.
